Back in late December, 2012, I produced a quirkly little promo for I’m In Marketer, an app development company that creates custom mobile apps for businesses to reach out to their customers.
The Premise Was Simple
We have our actress, Lilly (played by the wonderful Dania Denise), get out of bed and start her day off entirely pre-planned by using her favorite local business’ mobile apps.
In this promo (written by copywriting mastermind, William McCanless) we were able to showcase how incredibly simple mobile app technology has made our lives. From setting up an appointment to get your HAIR DID, to pre-ordering lunch so you can swing by and pick it up whenever you’d like, we’re definitely at a point in technology where it’s almost impossible to ignore the simplicity (and awesomeness) of always being digitally connected.
Now… personally I could sit here and go back and forth on why this is and isn’t a good thing (and trust me, I’ve had this battle internally for a few years now ever since the introduction of Foursquare), but when you break it down to its purest form, these apps and this technology that surrounds us is here to attempt to make our lives more interconnected.
And frankly… I think that’s kind of a beautiful thing.
